ELKS IN GV 9-/22/07 - FIND A SPACE TO DANCE!

elks-4-07.JPG

It seemed like it was fun on the the floor - I know we had a blast Saturday @ The Elks in Green Valley.  It was wonderful to see a packed house - it left Mayme & I wondering what will happen when all the snowbirds come back.  Come early and get something to eat - we will be back in just a couple of weeks on Oct. 6 - plan ahead!

Sorry, we messed some of you up by wearing our cream-colored polos instead of the black t-shirts - and so many of you wear them when we come out.  I’ll try not to make the same mistake again.  Many thanks to those of you that filled the tip basket - it was worth doing YMCA for you.  See you very soon!

VIVA GREEN VALLEY!

The night started slowly but things heated up when the Vegas party in the main ballroom broke up.  The She-Elvis girls joined and did a dance after we finished and a couple of showgirls graced the dance floor.  In fact, the last set stayed in high gear the whole time.  Sorry to those who wanted a slow dance, we just didn’t want to break the mood.  We have a couple of new slow numbers you’ll hear the next time we come out.  Thanks to everyone who made it out.  Skip, Debbie, Michelle & Mike - glad you were able to make it out.  We’ll see you again on October 5th!

PARTY @ SUN CITY VISTOSO!

We received a warm welcome and had some hot dancers at the Sun City Social Center on Saturday.  A very nice facility with a great stage complete with a waiting area that let us make an entrance.  We played a bit longer than scheduled and were happy to do it - we were lucky to have a very enthusiastic crowd and from all appearances they had as much fun as we did.  Jan showed up to take a ton of pictures - I’ll see about posting some more and Pam may put some in the newsletter.

Thanks to everyone who requested songs - we were able to get to most and the rest we hope to cover when we return.  Thanks for letting us party with you, tell your friends for next time.
