STATE FARM - NEW YEAR’S EVE? NOV. 2, 2007

sf-party-jo-mariles.JPG

This was our second official gig of the holiday season.  New Year’s Eve you may ask?  Well, it’s just my district’s celebration of our calendar year - we want to have all major business wrapped up by Oct. 31 so we can enjoy the end of the year.  We played at the Flandrau Center on the U of A campus and it was an interesting setting and we had access to the telescope & a show.  Thanks to Deb Francisco (pictured with the Mid Life sign) for getting the dancers going.  Thanks to Kenneth Whitehair (who sang the Billy Idol version of  the lyrics for Mony, Mony) for letting us be part of the celebration and thanks to Linda Bylina (SF) and Val Kelly (U of A) for all their work in preparing for the party.  Many more thanks to the agents & spouses who helped to dance the night away.

VOTE TODAY - NEW PUBLICITY SHOT

I like to tell folks that we are all hard-working professionals who moonlight as a cover band.  This shot just shows that we sometimes have a little too much free time.  Steve created this fabulous new band photo - I personally think our hair has never looked better or our teeth whiter.  I asked Steve if he could make me look younger but he replied, “I’m an editor, not a genie dammit!”  No matter what you see in the movies or on TV, there is a limit to computer technology.  So, send in your votes & comments and let me know if I should send this in to Tucson Weekly to advertise our next gig.

TGIS HALLOWEEN DANCE - MORE PICTURES

Well, the lovely Nancy (pictured on the left with the great gams) answered the call and sent me some additional pictures of the TGIS party on Oct. 20.  It seemed apropriate to post them today instead of placing them with the original posting.  As you can tell, there were some great costumes.  Wanna hear something neat?  We are already booked for Halloween 2008!  Keep sending me your pictures.
