Mid Life Crisis

We may have surprised a few of the ball room dancers, but I daresay the majority of the people that came out for the Tucson Estates Dance Club had a rocking time.  The dance floor was always busy, and packed most of the time.  They took everything we threw at them and even sang along with us (except for Bob’s re-write of “Chances Are”).  Sorry our schedule is going to keep us away until November, but we look forward to returning.  As to those pictures of me dancing?  Well PR can be a tough job, but someone has to do it.  Thanks!

Well blast my crummy batteries - I didn’t get any dance shots this time around but luckily I have a few photos in the archives of some of the regulars that enjoy the music from their seats at the bar.  My apologies to all the out of town visitors that filled the place up - I did want to post your shots.  A great crowd that kept the bar hopping.  I’ve always told the crowd “The more you drink, the better we look and sound” - we were superstars by the end of the evening.  Jennifer told me they were to resume the “convention” at 7 the next morning!  I know you had as much fun as we did and look forward to seeing some of you at the casino the next 2 Fridays.

What a great way to spend a Thursday night!  As you can tell from the last photos, this is a pretty organized bunch.  I wish I could have taken a shot of everyone dancing the YMCA - the line dancers covered the whole floor.  I’ve mentioned before that we really like this stage and dance floor and the folks at Quail Creek are always fun to be with.  We’ll be back here with the Tennis Club in April and hopefully soon after that.  Thanks to everyone that came out - Barbara Ann - I promise we do “Celebration” next time.
