Well, Bob was a bit worried that a crowd so spiffed up and refined would not (in the words of the late Lawrence Welk) “A-get down and get a-funky”.  We started with some slower, sedate songs but got the go-ahead to speed things up after 4 or so.  That’s when we started recognizing some regulars that were cleaned up beyond the point of recognition.  I want to thank Phyllis for letting us participate in her big event, we were honored.  I do want to apologize to those I saw in the lounge wearing our shirts not realizing we were in the other room.  I do hope they didn’t have their ears pressed to the door wishing they were with the beautiful people.  We’ll be back in our regular spot on April 19.  Oh, our android version of Bob (click on picture #7) performed quite admirably - if it did anything untoward that night (there were some lovely dresses in the audience) - he apologizes.
