I forgot my camera, didn’t have batteries for the mp3 player for bumper music, Bob’s truck broke down and someone whined about the volume. All in all, not the smoothest gig we’ve ever had. On top of that, we got soaked when we were loading. Luckily, we had more than enough dancers who didn’t mind the sound level and stayed with us all night long. Too bad about the camera – I would have loved a picture of Bev’s festive summer dress or one of Cheryl & her table of friends. It was so good to see Bob Berry back out with Annie (and we all made sure he paced himself). For the members that read this, don’t forget the meeting on the 28th regarding the “T-shirt issue”. Whatever side you weigh in on, be sure to make your opinions known. I wonder if it will apply to the bands that play there as well? Let me know. As a member, I hope I can make it out. Thanks to those who came out and stayed!
