CHUY’S TANQUE VERDE 8-29-2008
Well we were just playing with ourselves at the beginning. Should have known the crowd might be a bit sparse due to the holiday weekend, but luckily birthday-girl Cris and her posse showed up and they were able entice a few of the Fire Department/Paramedic party people off the patio (see the pole dancer - we never get the right kind). Linda and more FOBs along with Emilio the lovely Shane came in and the effervescent Debbie & Jenifer helped get things going. Joanne tried to be incognito but when you’re the wife of the member of a TAMMIES-winning band you can’t hide for long. Oh yes, we drew in our friends from Sahuarita and I have to mention Jenifer came in from Phoenix. The fact that there is no dance floor and that the floor was a bit sticky didn’t stop anyone and we made quite a few new friends. Here’s hoping we can find an open date for a return visit. Thanks to everyone who came out.
