Bryant Nuptials - Nov. 16, 2008

hpim1692.JPGhpim1693.JPGhpim1694.JPGhpim1695.JPGhpim1696.JPGhpim1697.JPGhpim1698.JPGhpim1699.JPGhpim1700.JPGhpim1702.JPG  I’ve lived in 49er’s almost 3 years and I had no idea the 49er Guest Estates had a clubhouse.  Mother Nature cooperated - an almost perfect afternoon playing under a copse of mesquite trees.  We kicked up a bit of dust, but no one called the sheriff’s deputies.  All we needed was a small fire as we tried to finish off the keg at dusk.  Michael and Danae Bryant and their family and friends were very gracious - it was our pleasure to add a little something to the festivities.  Oh, another Mid Life shirt is going to the Northwest, Washington (state) this time.

hpim1682.JPGhpim1680.JPGhpim1681.JPGhpim1683.JPGhpim1684.JPGhpim1685.JPGhpim1686.JPGhpim1687.JPGhpim1688.JPGhpim1689.JPGhpim1690.JPGhpim1691.JPG  It always helps to have a birthday in the house.  Joe was celebrating his 60th with a full house so we made it through the night without Bob who celebrating with a friend in the nippy Northeast.  Rest assured, he will be back when we return and speaking of rest, my voice needed it after the night ended.  Our friends were wonderfully supportive when I sang Bob’s songs and we kept the floor pretty full all night long.  We had as much fun as you did.  See some of you at the fundraiser on Sunday the 30th and the rest of you when we make our regular visit on December 20.

TUCSON ESTATES DANCE CLUB 11-8-08

hpim1663.JPGhpim1664.JPGhpim1665.JPGhpim1666.JPGhpim1667.JPGhpim1668.JPGhpim1669.JPGhpim1670.JPG  We had not visited Tucson Estates since the snowbirds left at the beginning of the year.  Even though there was a competing party, we had a good group of dancers and some of them wanted some rock ‘n roll.  We even had a request for some ZZ Top, it threw us off a bit (we do know “Sharp Dressed Man” but decided against playing it this time).  Now the request for a waltz, we usually get one and we do have one in the works.  We kept most of the dancers there until the last Bob Segar song, thanks!
