Wow, what a night! We were a bit worried about being booked until 1:00 a.m., but we had a full dance floor for last call. Now earlier in the evening, that was another story. There was another group playing in the big hall and the crowds shifted back and forth. There were a couple of times when people couldn’t make it to the bar or back to their tables until the songs ended. The ladies sparkled & looked great, even the guys looked decent – my eyes didn’t water once. Sue made a surprise appearance, Betty looked ravishing. This is always a great way to break me out of the blues. Wow, I just realized it will be our last New Year’s gig here, it was a great sendoff.
