ELKS 2592 - JANUARY 17, 2009
This was the perfect tonic to help us recover from last week’s gig. The only thing that went badly was that some folks had to leave because there was no place to sit at 7 pm! So many of our regular friends were there and the “Popcorn Babes” (is that a bit better?) helped spice things up for us. Gloria, I am so sorry I didn’t get the chance to talk more, but there is a great picture of you and Robert this time (always take care of your customers!). It only took a few years but we got a waltz in the mix for you - Steve loved it so much he just kept on singing long after we were done. Thank you all so much, there are the kind of nights that make all this worthwhile. We always have fun here, the only question we have is what color Kathleen’s hair will be next time. See you on the 21st of February!
