GREEN VALLEY REC CENTER, FEB. 13, 2009

hpim1977.JPGhpim1968.JPGhpim1970.JPGhpim1971.JPGhpim1972.JPGhpim1973.JPGhpim1975.JPGhpim1976.JPGhpim1978.JPGhpim1979.JPGWe had a great weekend and it all started at Canoa Hills for the GVR.  We broke a record with 202 tickets sold and I can tell you everyone came out to dance.  We did our best to give everyone something, we even did a waltz.  We do a cute brown-eyed-girl her song - so sorry we ran out of time with all the requests.  Suzette had a wild and crazy table and I have to thank the kind soul that left a Sam Adams up at the soda table to ease my parched throat.  We kept almost everyone there the entire night - this is reason we love playing in Green Valley.

AMERICAN LEGION POST 66, FEB. 6, 2009

hpim1952.JPGhpim1943.JPGhpim1945.JPGhpim1946.JPGhpim1947.JPGhpim1948.JPGhpim1949.JPGhpim1950.JPGhpim1951.JPGhpim1953.JPG  I guess I can blame the crush of getting my tax stuff ready for the delay in posting these pictures.  As you may be able to tell from the last shot, it wan’t because we didn’t have fun.  Joe & Jan and her sister from the great NW was there, we think we saw the ghost of Bonnie and Angelina was wearing a Mid Life T-shirt.  We now have a couple more being worn by Midi-philes.  We had not played here since December - it looks like everyone remembered us.  See you in March.

RANCHO RESORTS SOCK HOP - 1/31/09

hpim1908.JPGhpim1909.JPGhpim1910.JPGhpim1911.JPGhpim1912.JPGhpim1913.JPGhpim1914.JPGhpim1915.JPGhpim1916.JPGhpim1917.JPGhpim1918.JPGhpim1920.JPGhpim1921.JPGhpim1922.JPGhpim1923.JPGhpim1924.JPGWhat a good-looking, fun-loving bunch!  Gloria, Robert, Joyce, Petra, Bill and the Popcorn girls were there to help out, and we had a few t-shirts in the crowd.  It was a sock hop and we stayed true to form for the most part but we had to get in the line dances and even a request for YMCA.  We had 2 “Cats” in the audience, but lovely “K-Kat” played some real air guitar along with several others that made good use of the table decorations.  A new committe had to take over the planning of this party and they did a great job.  To the popcorn girls, you are welcome anytime and so glad you had a good time, we had fun as well!  Thanks.
