QUAIL CREEK TENNIS CLUB - APRIL 5, 2009

hpim0299.JPGhpim0296.JPGhpim0297.JPGhpim0298.JPG  I can’t shake off the feeling that we let Glenn down at this year’s party.  We never got things hopping and certain songs just didn’t work Sunday night.  I hope the good people at Quail Creek weren’t disappointed.  Maybe it was just a bit of fatigue from the 3rd night in a row.

KACHINA TOURNAMENT PARTY - APRIL 4, 2009

hpim0282.JPGhpim0281.JPGhpim0283.JPGhpim0284.JPGhpim0285.JPGhpim0286.JPGhpim0288.JPGhpim0289.JPGhpim0290.JPGhpim0291.JPGhpim0292.JPGhpim0294.JPGhpim0295.JPG  We had and kept a good crowd for this year’s party.  It was nice that the tables were closer to us.  This is a great room, but it is all dance flloor and sometimes the tables are way in back beyond our focus range.  Take a look at the first picture, this tourney has some of the coolest awards I’ve ever seen.  We are so spoiled - we played until 10:30 and it felt late - time to do a good old bar gig as a reminder.  We are happy to have been asked back for the 3rd/4th year in a row.  Thanks.

AMERICAN LEGION POST 66 - APRIL 3, 2009

hpim0267.JPGhpim0268.JPGhpim0269.JPGhpim0270.JPGhpim0271.JPGhpim0272.JPGhpim0273.JPGhpim0274.JPGhpim0276.JPGhpim0277.JPGhpim0279.JPG  It was a hot night on the floor and in band box.  Angelina did turn the temp down - we all needed it.  A great crowd, one of the best in a long time and I know the Post made some money, it was good all around.  I know quite a few people were leaving after this, but we had a good contingent from Kansas and elsewhere - hope we get some t-shirt shots for the site.  We’ll see you again on May 1st!
