Mid Life Crisis

  I wonder if I’m going to bust the site with too many photos?  Please let me know if this page took forever to load but our intrepid photographer(s) took so many nice shots it was tough to decide what made the cut.  My apologies for some of the dark photos, but I do have a new camera and it doesn’t always flash on distance shots.  We were worried because the crowd was smaller than the last gig here, but we had a coupole of birthdays in the house and were fortunate in having an enthusiastic bunch that wanted to partake in the Mid Life weight reduction program (much more effective in the summer months).  I do want to thank our entourage for taking such good care of us and sharing their “picnic” goods with us.  I think we return here in the fall, until then!

  For the first two sets, the floor was overflowing.  By the last set, only the heavy-duty rockers remained.  If you ever want plenty of dancing space here (and it can be at a premium at times) come late and stay for the last set.  We even surprised those at the bar with some ZZ Top in the 3rd set.  A hot night, but a good one according to Angelina, she will let us come back next month.  Check out the picture with me an Steve.  Someday I will tell you what I overheard.  If you want to find out sooner, ask Steve, he’s not quite the gentleman others are.

  Our good friends John & Liz Denbo brought their granddaughters in to catch the first set.  I think they had a pretty good time.  The rest of the crowd took over for the last 2 sets - we had a fun, raucous group partying with us on Saturday.  I am eternally grateful to our photographer for capturing so many good shots, “Wild” Bill posed nicely.  So much fun, so looking forward to next month.
