 A rather sedate night by Elks standards. We were glad to have the popcorn girls, Betty & her guests, Joyce and some other regulars like Virginia & Joe to keep the first two sets going. So funny, people started leaving after the slow songs in the 3rd set, thank goodness for the dedicated rockers that helped us close the night. “Louie, Louie” seemed to go over well; we’ll have to give “That Thing You Do” another couple of chances to see. Let’s see what the crowd is like on November 14, see you then.
