Mid Life Crisis

 I would say this Friday the 13th was lucky for us.  Beginning with our friend Bill who brought his beautiful daughter to Joyce, Leah, Melanie & Gloria who barely stayed within the legal limit for fun completed by a dancing crowd who fought their way past the jammed parking lot (the Firefighters were having a party in the hall and they brought some Fire Trucks).  I included 2 shots of Joyce & her gang as I could never get them to all settle down at the same time.  I’m sorry I didn’t include a shot of our line dancers - every now and then I have trouble taking pictures while I’m singing (and you know how it works when I sing and play the keyboard at the same time!).  All in all, a worth start to a great weekend for Mid Life Crisis.  See you here on the 4th of December.

  It was so nice to return to the CC of GV - we were asked to play for the Kokopelli Tournament Cocktail Party and everyone seemed to have saved up their energy for a few dances.  Jessica & Graciela are always a pleasure to work with and we like that some of the team there joins us on the floor at the end of the night.  I’m glad we tucked back into our corner because there were several times every inch of the dance floor was in use.  We look forward to a return visit on December 18 for the Christmas party.

     What a perfect night.  The weather was outstanding, the moon was almost full and the crowd was ready to party.  We had so much fun we didn’t want to stop at the agreed upon time.  As you can see a ton of pictures (reminder, click on the picture to enlarge, then hit the “Back” button on Explorer [0r your browser] to return to the posting) and that was after culling quite a few.  The third shot is Jacinda, Steve’s daughter, I guess she was surprised by the “Hair-Band” look.  Special thanks to Susie Q who made sure every bit of the camera’s memory was used up.  The food was almost as good at the company - no one left hungry.  Betty (and her helpful friends) did a great job on this party.  No one called the cops, but it was still a very memorable night - I want to compliment everyone on some great costumes.
