Mid Life Crisis

  Hmm, there was a bit of a floor show on Saturday night, I’ll have to settle up with Leah later on.  We had 4 birthdays in the house, including Betty who was kicking up her heels before heading to the Antarctic or somewhere colder than here.  Marion was there dancing on jet-lagged legs and I have to congratulate the Simmons (sporting the jaunty hats) who were married the day before.  The last 5 photos are mine, the rest were taken by Susanne who like Betty, Mel, Gloria, Leah, Joyce & EJ were parting for the second night in a row!  Then again, we were too but didn’t make it to the “other” place so they out-partied the band.  Our next gig will back here on June 5.  Fair warning, Khang might not be there (was it because his pocket was picked?) but John or Koko will be the talented sub.

  We have a good assortment of pictures thanks to Susanne who sent the first 11 and Kat who took the next 4.  Pictures from the stage would have been small & fuzzy.  We moved to West Center for this event - we like that stage and most in the crowd said the sound was good.  We had a few bumps, but it was so nice to be playing and singing again.  We’ll play here again in November for the GVR’s concert series so be checking the site and e-mails.  My thanks to Bobbie & Shelly for their help, to Betty & the Popcorn girls for keeping our whistles wet.
